What is BETTER DECKS?

Better Decks helps you design, build, and upgrade stunning decks with creative ideas, expert tips, and inspiration to transform your outdoor space.

What's the difference between an arbor and a pergola?

An arbor is smaller (typically 2-4 feet deep) and used to frame a path or entry. A pergola is larger and covers a patio or deck seating area.

Can I install an arbor myself?

Small arbors can be DIY, but custom arbors with proper anchoring and integrated lighting are best left to professionals.

Do you serve Arp and the surrounding area?

Yes, we proudly serve Arp and all of Smith County. We're familiar with local building codes, soil conditions, and weather patterns in the Piney Woods region, and we build outdoor structures designed to withstand East Texas conditions.

Do you offer a warranty on arbors in Arp?

Yes, every project includes our workmanship guarantee. Material warranties vary by manufacturer — composite decking typically carries 25-50 year warranties, while pressure-treated wood includes manufacturer coverage. We explain all warranty details during your Arp consultation.

Expert Arbor Services in Arp, TX

Your Local Arbor Experts in Arp

When it comes to arbor in Arp, TX, experience makes all the difference. An arbor is a smaller, simpler structure than a pergola — perfect for framing a garden path, gate, or seating area. Arbors add vertical interest and support climbing plants. Custom deck design transforms your ideas into a buildable plan. We consider your home's architecture, yard layout, and how you want to use the space. Our team knows Arp — a small town southeast of Tyler — and we build for Piney Woods conditions.

How We Design Your Arbor

Our design process includes measuring your space, discussing your needs, creating 3D renderings, and selecting materials. You approve the design before construction begins. In Arp, a small town southeast of Tyler, we navigate Smith County permitting and build for Piney Woods weather so you don't have to.
