What is BETTER DECKS?

Better Decks helps you design, build, and upgrade stunning decks with creative ideas, expert tips, and inspiration to transform your outdoor space.

What's the difference between an arbor and a pergola?

An arbor is smaller (typically 2-4 feet deep) and used to frame a path or entry. A pergola is larger and covers a patio or deck seating area.

Can I install an arbor myself?

Small arbors can be DIY, but custom arbors with proper anchoring and integrated lighting are best left to professionals.

Why choose a local arbor company for Maud?

As an East Texas company, we know Maud and Bowie County. We understand Piney Woods soil, weather, and building codes. We're close enough for quick site visits and ongoing support — not a distant company that disappears after installation.

What warranty comes with a arbor from Better Decks?

Our workmanship is guaranteed, and material warranties range from 10 years on pressure-treated wood to 50 years on premium composite. We stand behind every Maud project and are here for ongoing support.
